Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Friday heard arguments in AgriGold depositors’ case. The Advocate appearing for the AgriGold sought time till 2022 to clear up to Rs 8,500 crores of the total dues.
However, the bench rejected the proposal put forth by the AgriGold advocate outrightly. The advocate representing the high land property submitted to the court that the property was worth of Rs 580 crore and not Rs 505 crore as quoted by the AgriGold advocate.
The court directed the government to estimate the value of other properties sought to be disposed of for clearing the dues to the AgriGold depositors at the earliest. The court posted the matter to November 9 for further hearing.
