Kadapa: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president N Raghu Veera Reddy alleged that BJP and YSR Congress parties are hatching conspiracy to destabilise the government in AP.  Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, the PCC president referred to the attack on opposition leader at Visakhapatnam Airport on Thursday and said, `if any untoward incident occurred it would be the responsibility of central government to deal the case in an impartial manner by taking inputs from the government. Raghuveera also finds fault with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his failure to give specific answers over the Visakhapatnam incident. As the head of the state, it is the responsibility of Chief Minister to give facts instead of hiding them, the PCC chief said. He said that as an experienced chief minister it is not correct for Chandrababu Naidu to repeat the allegations of a film actor by pointing out Operation Garuda. Raghuveera also seeks a probe into statements of actor Shivaji.

He expressed confidence that Congress will come to power both at the Centre and also in state after the ensuing elections.  ``Congress is the only party to rule the country to protect the interests of all sections of people. Congress party  is committed to its promise in providing Special  Category Status(SCS) to AP after coming to power in 2019 general elections,’’ he added. PCC vice-president N Tulasi Reddy, DCC president SK Nazir Ahmad and others were present.
