Tourism promotion by River Bay

Rajamahendravaram: As part of tourism promotion, River Bay Resorts is expanding its activities to West Godavari district, Amaravathi and Visakhapatnam. 

The resorts management took the restaurants on lease from Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) and running them.

Speaking to ‘The Hans India’ here on Sunday, River Bay Resorts general manager A Suresh said that palatial resorts would be coming up in an area of 30 acres in state capital Amaravathi. 

Moreover, plans are afoot to start another resort near the proposed airport at Bhogapuram.

The management first planned to construct resorts in Visakhapatnam. However, the place was changed as new airport coming up at Bhogapuram. 

River Bay management is running resorts with 12 rooms both at Errakalva in Jangareddygudem and Pattiseema with restaurant facility. 

The room tariff at Jangareddygudem is Rs 2,000 and at Pattiseema it is Rs 1,500 per day.

Moreover, another resort also functioning in famous pilgrim centre in Amaravathi with 20 rooms and restaurant and the cost of each room per day is Rs 2,000.  

He further informed that the management was supplying quality food along with maintaining the rooms with necessary facilities. 

The management is also running the resorts at Gowthami Ghat for two decades in Rajamahendravaram, he averred.
