CBI scanner on Sana Satish assets
Kakinada: Sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday made enquiries at three places about Sana Satish at Kakinada, Samarlakota and Peddapuram on Saturday and Sunday. According to sources, the sleuths made enquiries about his properties in these three places.
Once a smalltime employee of the AP Transco, Satish left his job and moved to Hyderabad where he spread his influence by starting a number of companies. He was reportedly close to politicians of different hues. Satish was reportedly under the scanner in a case registered by the CBI against controversial meat exporter Moin Qureshi.
Controversial CBI special director Rakesh Asthana, who filed a complaint with the Central Vigilance Commission, had alleged that Alok Verma, the CBI Director who was forced to go on leave, had tried to help Satish. Satish is said to have amassed properties worth over Rs 1,000 crore, including a helicopter on his own and properties in Dubai apart from India.
