Dr Manjula wins Srimathi Amaravati title in Ibrahimpatnam

Vijayawada: Dr Manjula won the title of Srimathi Amaravati in its third season held at VTPS grounds in Ibrahimptnam here on Sunday.

The first runner-up was Sujitha and the second runner-up was Sandhya.

Mandakini bagged award for best eyes and smile and Abhaya was adjudged as the best traditional woman. About 24 women entered the grand finale from the 65 participants earlier at the auditions.

The judges of the finale were eminent jury members Anjana, fashion designer, Sireesha, choreographer, Sneha Chowdary, Mrs Hyderabad and MD of SVR Tours and Travels.

24 finalists graced the stage and the theme of the beauty pageant was ‘Women should not be confined to kitchen.’

All the finalists participated in the ramp walk. They reflected tradition and culture of Andhra Pradesh by wearing traditional saris enthusiastically. 

They walked gracefully in style and enhanced the beauty of the competition with their confidence and charm.

AP FDC Chairman and CEO and president of Ambica Agarbathi Ambika Krishna was the chief guest of the programme. 

Other guests include Gadde Anuradha, Krishna district ZP chairperson, Koganti Sathyam, industrialist, Surekha Vani, actress, Satya Prakash, actor, Guru Raju producer.

The event was hosted by Big Boss fame N Deepthi. T Pradeep of Tejas Elite Events was overjoyed with the success of the beauty pageant and said that about 5,000 people were present for the event and expressed his gratitude to the guests, crew, and media for extending their support.
