Excluding SGT posts in DSC for Chittoor district decried 

Chittoor: MLC Y Srinivasulu Reddy slammed HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao for not declaring posts to the Chief Minister’s native district in the recently announced DSC notification. He participated in the protest organised by unemployed SGT youth at the Collectorate here on Monday.

Addressing the agitating protestors, the MLC stated there are 1,500 Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) posts are vacant in the district. He further said only 7,000 SGT posts were declared in the DSC notification when there are 36,000 vacant in the state.

He lamented that 30,000 SGT qualified in the district are denied the chance of appearing for the DSC. Later, they submitted a representation to District Collector P S Pradyumna for taking immediate action to release modified DSC notification by including SGT posts to Chittoor district. UTF District Secretary G V Ramana, DYFI District President Jaya Chandra and others spoke.
