Call to make Muslim meet a success
Giddalur: The Muslims must keep their self-respect high and work for the success of Muslimla Atmagourava Sadassu scheduled for November 2 in Vijayawada, said Syed Sami Husaini, honorary president of the Muslim Hakkula Porata Samiti.
He released a wall poster of the meeting in Giddalur on Tuesday.
Speaking at the programme, the state general secretary of the organisation, Farook Shubli said that Muslim minorities were far behind the brethren of SCs and STs and there was no change in their situation even after change of many governments.
He said that the political parties were insulting the Muslims and asked the Muslims to show their strength at the Atmagourava Sadassu in Vijayawada.
Syed Sami, the honorary president said that the meeting was scheduled at Makineni Basavapunnaiah Vignana Kedram on November 2.
He announced that CPI national committee member and JNU students union former president Kanniah Kumar and representatives from other political parties would also participate in the programme.
The MHPS advisor, Mastan Vali presided over the meeting while Prakasam district president Ibrahim, honorary district president Golkonda Nayab Rasool, convener of Godavari districts Shaik Azahar and others also participated in the programme.
