TDP protest rallies in all constituencies on Nov 5
Amaravati: Strongly protesting against the highhandedness and conspiracies of the ruling BJP at the Centre to destabilise the State, the activists of the Telugu Desam Party would take out massive rallies in all the constituencies throughout the State, announced Minister for Power Kimidi Kala Venkat Rao.
Addressing the media in his chambers at the Secretariat on Wednesday, he alleged that the BJP government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been diluting the Constitutional bodies.
“It is high time the non-BJP parties unite to save the nation,” he said. He said that the internal disturbances in the Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) have been damaging the reputation of the country.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi who failed to implement the assurances in the AP Reorganisation Act-2014 has been working overtime to destabilise the Telugu Desam Party.
Moreover, the Centre has been terrorising the sympathisers of the Telugu Desam Party with income tax raids, he said and added that such type of vindictive acts were not proper in a democracy. The Minister said that nobody was afraid of such acts.
He said that the TDP leaders and cadre would organise massive rallies and stage protest demonstrations throughout the State at all constituency headquarters on November 5.
