VPT, DCIL organise Vigilance Awareness Week

Visakhapatnam: V V S  Sreenivas, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) and Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) said that the people and particularly the younger generations must know about the importance of the Vigilance Awareness Week. 

The vigilance awareness week's main objective is to fight against the corruption. DCIL and VPT joinly organising several events during the week with the theme “Eradicate Corruption-Build A New India,” he said. 

As part of the programmes, painting competitions were conducted for Corporate, Aided, Municipal and Rural schools to catch the imagination of children coming from wide spectrum of society. 

Elocution and Essay writing competitions are conducted for students from Colleges on Tuesday. 

Signature Campaigns, Flash Mobs and Skits are also organised to catch the imagination of common man. 

Radio, Television and social media platforms are also being extensively utilised to create awareness among people.
