Ambati lashes out at Chandrababu Naidu for meeting Rahul Gandhi
Vijayawada: YSRCP official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu lashed out at Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for meeting AICC president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Thursday.
He questioned how the TDP chief could meet Rahul after criticising the Congress president many times as ‘Pappu’. He recalled that the TDP opposed the Congress party for three decades and questioned how it would work with it now.
Speaking to reporters at the YSRCP state office on Thursday, Rambabu said Chandrababu Naidu is an opportunistic leader and go for alliance with any political party at any time.
He said that TDP had never contested elections on its own and recalled it had alliance with some other political parties in almost all elections. He referred to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s latest Delhi visit and his meeting leaders like Sharad Pawar and Farooq Abudulla on Thursday.
He said Chandrababu Naidu had ruled the state four- and- half- years since 2014 and now has no guts to face the elections alone. Rambabu alleged the TDP government had failed in all fronts in the state and now it is not in a position to face the elections.
