Rally against corruption organised in Rajamahendravaram
Rajamahendravaram: Urban Superintendent of Police Dr Shemushi Bajpayee has appealed to the people to fight against corruption, which is the need of the hour.
Inaugurating vigilance awareness rally at Fortgate here on Thursday, she said that it was the duty of everyone to put one’s efforts to create a corruption-free society.
Development will be hampered with corruption and it also poses many problems. Everyone should follow good principles to lead a peaceful life.
She advised the people to inform to the police, if they have any information about corruption. She advised the youth to play pivotal role to eradicate corruption.
Vigilance SP Reddy Gangadhar Rao said his department was putting its efforts to combat corruption and asked the people to inform to vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau about corruption.
It was the duty of people to become part and parcel in eradicating corruption.
The rally started at Pushkar Ghat and concluded at Syamala theatre through main road. The participants raised slogans against corruption.
ACB additional superintendent Shakeela Bhanu, deputy superintendent Sudhakar, officials of irrigation, traffic and other departments were present.
