Vijayawada: The flexies erected in Vijayawada city and Velagapudi highlighting the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s current New Delhi tour, drawing the attention of people.

Vijayawada urban TDP leader Katragadda Babu set up the flexies at Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium (IGMC), Police Control Room in the city and at Velagapudi in the capital region.

The flexies appeared with a slogan ‘Naati Ramanna baatalo Neti Chandranna.’ In the flexies, the TDP leader recalled that the Communists and the BJP entered into an alliance in the past though both were opponents in order to save democracy agitation led by the TDP founder NT Rama Rao in August 1984 which was known as August crisis.

He termed the effort of Chandrababu Naidu to unite all the anti-BJP parties as Dharmaporatam. He requested the people with the flexies to extend their support to Chandrababu Naidu, who is fighting for protecting democracy in the country.

The Centre was not implementing the assurances mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act, he said. The TDP leader also requested the people to teach a fitting lesson to the BJP-led NDA government and the leaders of local parties who were extending support to the Centre. The pictures of NTR, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh were printed in the flexies.
