Pedicon conference from today in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: A two-day Central Zone Pedicon-2018 conference would commence at AB Convention centre, beside airport at Gannavaram on November 3.  

Chairman Dr PV Ramarao of Andhra Hospitals said that about 1,200 paediatricians from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh would participate in the conference. 

Advanced and latest technologies in pediatric treatment and surgeries would be discussed to decrease infant mortality rate besides identification of the cardiac problems in early stage.

Dr Ch Mallikarjuna Rao, General Secretary, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, AP said that utmost care should be taken right from the time of birth for controlling child mortality. 

The Indian Academy of Pediatrics, AP state in association with Krishna district branch is conducting the Central Zone Pedicon.

Conference secretary Dr P Durga Prasad, treasurer Dr R Venkateswara Rao and others were present.
