Economic Advisor visits IISER

Tirupati: The senior Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Human Resource Development VLVSS Subba Rao visited IISER here and interacted with the students and faculty. Speaking on the occasion, he elaborated on why IISERs being established in the country and the vision behind them. He advised students to grab the opportunity of graduating from such prestigious institutes.

Rao also emphasised on the importance of life skills required for students. He also visited facilities in transit campus and permanent campus land at Yerpedu. The Director of IISER Prof KN Ganesh was with him and presented him a memento. Subba Rao, a senior officer from the Indian Economic Service, has been heading IISERs and officiating Chairman of the institutes at Tirupati, Berhampur and Kolkata.
