Lokesh to launch platform for startups tomorrow
Vijayawada: Minister for panchayat raj and IT Nara Lokesh will launch Sedibus (startup ecosystem platform) in the model of T-Hub in Telangana on November 6. So far, the state government is only extending support to entrepreneurs in many aspects to establish new companies and start-ups. First-of-its-kind in Andhra Pradesh, the Malaxmi group’s Sedibus will also guide the entrepreneurs as part of social responsibility.
The group constructed a building with 60,000 square feet for Sedibus at Nidamanuru here. Especially, the Sedibus will provide technological support in Robotics, Artificial intelligence and machine learning drills in the deep automation sector.
The Sedibus will have machinery to create awareness to start the companies. It has already entered into an agreement with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Similarly, Sedibus received enquiries from nearly 100 industrialists in Hyderabad.
Malaxmi group managing director Y Harishchandra Prasad said that the Sedibus would show the path to new start-ups in the state and also new capital Amaravati. He said that it would be a platform for entrepreneurs in the model of T-Hub in Hyderabad.
The Sedibus will support the start-ups from foundation stone to production, he said. He hoped that it would be a bridge between government and industrialists to implement single desk policy of the state government.
