Supreme Court issues notice to Andhra Pradesh over High Court bifurcation

 In response to the affidavit submitted by Andhra Pradesh government, the Supreme Court on Monday issued notice pertaining to the High Court division. In the affidavit filed by the AP govt, it assured to complete the temporary High Court building by December 15.

The court also said that the High Court judges are also pleased with the proposal put forward by the AP govt and ensured that the new High Court to be opened on January 1. 

Meanwhile, the court also directed the AP government to provide accommodation to judges in the rented buildings until the completion of High Court in Justice City at Amaravati.
