TDP-Cong tie-up ethical, says Chinta Mohan

Nellore: Senior Congress leader and former MP Chinta Mohan on Monday described the TDP-Congress alliance as an ethical alliance. He said that they were uniting anti-Modi forces across the country. 

Interacting with the media at Indira Bhavan here on Monday, the formper MP of Tirupati said that former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao also thought of forging an alliance with the Congress in 1995. 

‘Even the soul of the former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao feels happy over his party forging an alliance with the Congress. NT Rama Rao had made a call to me during 1995 and asked me about the alliance with the Congress. 
So, this is not new and unprincipled. Now, the Central government has been creating hurdles for development of the State without allocating any sufficient funds,’” he said.

N T Rama Rao had supported P V Narasimha Rao when he was contesting from Nandyal Parliamentary constituency and did not field his party candidate against Narasimha Rao, Chinta Mohan reminded.
