Delhi Public School students take out rally to spread green Diwali

Visakhapatnam: The students of Delhi Public School on Monday came out on the roads to spread the message of cracker-less Diwali. The students of the school under the stewardship of Principal Samir Kumar Pandey launched an awareness campaign on ‘Anti crackers.’ The students of Class- XI presented a colourful assembly. They set the stage ablaze with a riot of colours, music, dance and discussions about facts of the festival.

The students took out a rally ahead of Diwali to spread the message of minimising the use of crackers and going in for a green and safe Diwali. The Young Eco-Warriors took upon themselves to prepare inspiring placards with slogans to sensitise the children, residents and passersby to denounce the use of crackers. The Planet Pals urged the people to celebrate Green Diwali with earthen lamps, floral decorations, get-togethers and feasts reverberating with laughter and joy to illuminate hearts.
