Diwali celebrations at Pavitra Sangamam today

Vijayawada: The Department of Tourism, Government of Andhra Pradesh, will conduct the Diwali celebrations at Pavitra Sangamam in Ibrahimpatnam on November 6. Collector B Lakshmikantham on Monday released a poster related to the Deepavali Sambaralu at the Collector’s camp office in Vijayawada on Monday. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be the chief guest for the festivities to be held from 5.30 pm to 9 pm at Pavitra Sangamam on the banks of Krishna river. Speaking on the occasion, Collector Lakshmikantham said cultural programmes, mimicry, music and dance events, display of fire crackers and Narakasura Dahanam will be performed.
