Municipal teachers protest over GPF, promotions

 Guntur: Municipal Corporation teachers under the banner of Municipal Teachers Federation protested at Guntur Municipal Corporation UP School here on Monday, demanding that the government extend GPF and promotions to the municipal teachers. They demanded that the government pay Rs 14,000 per month to the Vidya Volunteers. 

Addressing the gathering, the MTF state president S Rama Krishna asked the government to give GPF to the municipal teachers immediately and take steps for promotion to the municipal teachers without further delay.
