Naidu to write series of letters to Modi governmnent
Amaravati: The AP Cabinet has reportedly decided to write series of letters to the central government on the indifferent attitude on implementation of AP Reorganization Act, failure of fulfilling promises made to the state during the bifurcation of the state, taking U-turn in setting up of the much demanded Steel Plant at Kadapa district in Rayalaseema, irresponsive behaviour of the centre over Titli Cyclone impact and many others.
The Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has met here at Secretariat in Amaravati on Tuesday and took many decisions.
The first letter will be from Chief Minister to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the decision of the State government in establishing Steel Plant, as the centre failed to set up it as mandated in the AP Reorganization Act.
The state government will establish the plant with private partnership.
Chandrababu Naidu will also write second letter on the failure of the centre in honouring and implementing the Reorganization Act.
Chief Minister will also write a separate letter to Union Home Minister and Prime Minister seeking financial assistance for the Titli Cyclone affected area in the Srikakulam and Vizianagaram.
Chandrababu Naidu already wrote letters to Narendra Modi seeking immediate relief measures for the Titli affected people. The centre sent a committee to review and assess the impact.
But the centre did not provide any financial assistance to the state government till date. Hence the cabinet has reportedly decided to remind the central government once again on it.
