A minor girl was raped and murdered at Chodavaram

Visakhapatnam: Some unidentified miscreants had raped a  minor girl  and pour petrol on her later set up fire on her body at  Narsayapeta pond,near Lakshmipuram village under Chodavaram mandal on Wednesday.

The locals who had identified the half burnt body near the pond and informed to the police.Chodavaram police rushed to the spot and moved the body to the government hospital.

According to the sources on Thursday police had identified that the  deceased was Pillala Padmaja (15), pursuing intermediate second year in Chodavaram. Police registered the case and investigation was on.
