Son of AgriGold vice-chairman hurt in attack by 7 persons

Vijayawada: In a shocking incident, seven persons stormed into a home belonged to vice-chairman of the AgriGold company and attacked his son in Durgapuram. According to Satyanarayanapuram police, seven persons entered home of Sadasiva Prasad and attacked his son Prasad. 

Shocked over the incident, the family members screamed with panic and raised an alarm. The neighbours and passersby immediately rushed to the home and nabbed two persons. Five accused left the scene of offence after the attack. 

The vice-chairman was in prison in connection with his involvement in the scam. Satyanarayanapuram police visited the home and began the probe. The broad daylight attack in the city created a panic like situation. The police are tight lipped over the incident. The CBCID is investigating the AgriGold case and arrested the key persons of the company.
