Mayur Orchestra’s musical concert tonight

Vijayawada: Here is the good news to Music lovers of Vijayawada. The city-based Orchestra, Mayur Orchestra, is organising a musical extravaganza - Yaad Na Jaye...on musical hits of yester years composed by legendary music directors Shankar-Jaikishan at Tummalapallivari Kalakshetram on November 11 at 6.30 pm.

The three-hour long musical night will witness eight male and four female singers crooning the compositions of the popular duo both in Telugu and Hindi. “The music lovers can enjoy the beautiful songs of yester years sung by Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar and Mukesh in Hindi,” said Mohammad Khaja, the organiser. 

The evening will also witness the presentation of a medley thus projecting the wide range of compositions. Singers Mohammad, Vinod Babu, Shanawaz, Satya, Rahman, Riyaz along with Sudha Srinivas, Pragnya, Keerthana, and Sushmitha will exhibit their singing prowess with the support of Orchestra team. 

Mayur Orchestra has been in the field of music for four decades and has performed several programmes in both the Telugu-speaking states. The chief guest of the evening will be Dr D Vizia Bhaskar, Chief Executive Officer of Andhra Pradesh Culture and Creativity Commission.
