The release of the white paper will reveal that the huge amounts borrowed had gone waste Though the TDP government assured of getting Special Category Status (SCS) and journeyed along with the Centre for four years, it failed to achieve anything, Sevakumar said adding that 65 per cent of the State’s revenue was being spent on payment of the interest for the debts taken, leaving no scope for taking up development activities.

If the same situation continues, the debt burden is sure to become unbearable and the State’s economy will collapse, he said blaming both BJP and TDP responsible for the sorry state of affairs. The people of the State will not forgive the BJP for betraying the state by denying SCS, he said seeking the people to teach a lesson to both TDP and BJP in the 2019 elections. AAP national council member Gattu Ranjithkumar was also present.
