Jain Samajam organises rally against abortions

Nellore: Members of  Jain Samajam organised a rally in the city on Sunday demanding to stop infanticides( killing unwanted babies). Nellore DSP NBM Murali Krishna formally launched the rally from Gandhi statue. Murali Krishna said that one has to respect natural process and abortions are similar to killing.

Dr Yasodhara, a leading gynaecologist said that abortions, especially in case of girl child, have to be prevented for managing male-female ratio. Any abortion is killing a baby and this kind of attitude has to be changed among people. Former legislator M Sridhra Krishna Reddy, Jain Samajam leaders Santhilal Jain and others were present.
