3rd Anna Canteen opens in city

Rajamahendravaram: Anna Canteen was opened on the premises of Subramanya Mydanam here on Monday, in addition to existing two canteens at Quarry area and Government Hospital centre. 

Inaugurating the canteen, MP Maganti Murali Mohan, urban and rural MLAs Dr AS Narayana, GB Choudary, MLC Adireddy Appa Rao, mayor PRS Sai and GUDA chairman Ganni Krishna said that breakfast, lunch and dinner would be supplied for Rs 5 only. 

The government was not compromising in food quality, they said and directed the food suppliers to maintain quality as per the norms of the government.

They said that some more canteens would come up in various places of the city. They appealed to the people not to waste the food. 

They asked the officials to inspect the canteen frequently to check the quality of the food.
