Chittoor: The CPI will not have electoral alliance with the Congress party in 2019 polls, said CPI national secretary K Narayana here on Tuesday. He however said the CPI has no reservations in joining hands with anti-BJP forces at the national level to dethrone the Narendra Modi government.

He alleged that corruption to the tune of Rs 10 lakh crore took place in the country under the Modi-regime. Narayana alleged that the Prime Minister was encouraging corruption in the country. He said Narendra Modi was destabilising premier institutes like the CBI, Election Commission and RBI.

He said,” The agreement with Anil Ambani for purchasing Rafale jet fighters is a clear evidence of NDA government’s involvement in a huge scam and it has denied the deal to public sector HAL.”

Narayana said demonetisation helped BJP national president Amit Shah, his son and other BJP leaders to convert their black money into white.  The CPI leader flayed the Centre for not fulfilling the promises made in AP Reorganisation Act.  He said the BJP government was following a vindictive approach and causing injustice to the State.

Referring to the ensuing Assembly elections in Telangana, he predicted that the TRS would suffer a humiliating defeat. He criticised KCR for not attending duties at the Secretariat. District CPI secretary A Rama Naidu, Chittoor town CPI secretary  Nagaraj and others were present.
