VIT holds meet for principals
Vijayawada: Aditya Nath Das, Special Chief Secretary stressed on the need for the college principals to help the students to excel in their careers by using technology in the areas where there is demand.
Addressing the gathering here on Tuesday he said that the state government was doing a great job in leveraging technologies such as Digital classrooms, Virtual classrooms, Digital technology.
This programme was aimed at educating students about new changes in the software sector in these modern days. “To make our future generations strong these type of programmes are necessary. Students can make new experiments if they have the right guidance. In the next two years, we will turn ten thousand schools to digital schools,” he added.
VIT AP University Registrar Dr CLV Siva Kumar said, “We all should feel the responsibility to publish a few journals on the research and development activities using technology and project AP as the happenings place.”
He said that VIT would organise various technical support workshops for the overall development of the faculty. They will organise these programmes at Visakhapatnam and Tirupathi in November.
