Advocates create awareness on free legal services

 Pithapuram: In an attempt to create awareness to SC, ST, women, children, elders and mentally challenged people on special enactments for their protection, advocates Saride Nageswara Rao and K Rajasekhar on Tuesday toured Chebrolu village in Gollaprolu mandal as part of legal services authority foundation week celebrations. 

On the direction of the mandal legal services authority chairman, Pithapuram 12th additional district judge G Lakshmi Narasimha Reddy, the advocates met and interacted with villagers and explained them about the free legal assistance provided by the authority. 

Those interested to seek legal assistance should submit their applications to the authority at Pithapuram, they said. The advocates advised them to approach Lok Adalats on cases related to without thinking of consequences, instead of approaching courts.
