MP, MLA take part in development activities
Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary participated in various development activities along with MP Maganti Murali Mohan at Torredu village of rural mandal on Tuesday.
The duo inaugurated 33/11kv sub-station constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 1.6 crore and Panchayat office building, Anganwadi centre and a primary health centre with an estimated cost of Rs 48 lakh.
Later, MP Maganti Murali Mohan said that the state government was very much particular to provide basic facilities in the villages in a phased manner. If the Central government extends its assistance many more facilities also be taken up in rural areas.
MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary said houses also be sanctioned to the true beneficiaries of the village shortly. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was keen to sanction houses to all in the state.
He advised the people to avail the welfare schemes judiciously and said the government was working for the welfare of the state.
Later, the duo distributed Rs 50 lakh worth of tractors to seven farmers. Rural Tahsildar Posaiah and others were present.
