Kakinada: Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan cautioned Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu over centralisation of medical education and institutions in and around state capital Amaravati.
Addressing a public meeting here on Monday evening, Pavan said that as far as he knew there were 14 medical colleges including AIIMS located around sate capital.
He reminded Naidu about what happened in Hyderabad should not be repeated here.
“Now, we are facing the implications of lack of medical amenities because of this centralisation after the state bifurcation.
Instead of centralisation, these medical institutions should be decentralised to cater to the medical needs of public and medical students,” Pavan felt.
