Arrangements at brisk pace for F1H2o boat race in Krishna

Vijayawada: The arrangements are going at brisk pace for hosting the F1H2o boat racing competitions in Krishna river from November 16 to 18. The Andhra Pradesh Tourism department has been making all seating arrangements for important persons-- Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Cabinet ministers, MLAs, MLCs, top government officials and visiting dignitaries are underway at the Berm Park. 

Boats have already arrived at the Berm park in special containers and racers are gearing up to begin practice in Krishna river. In all nine teams with 19 boats are taking part in the international event. Amaravati team is also participating in the three-day event. 

Construction of makeshift galleries, parking and food arrangements are underway on Wednesday and likely to be completed by Friday. 
Thousands of chairs and tables were brought to Berm park as part of seating arrangements. Besides, arrangements are also underway to conduct cultural programmes as part of Amaravati Music Festival. 

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will flag off the event at 3 pm on November 16. The highlight of the event is 20 minutes main race will be held on November 17 from 2.30 pm to 2.50 pm. 

The racing event will be held again in two sessions from 3.15 pm to 3.35 pm and F1 Grand Prix race from 4 pm to 5 pm on the final day November 18. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will distribute the prizes to the winners.
