Maoist posters create flutter
Guntur: Two posters allegedly pasted by the Maoists Palnadu Committee created flutters in the police and public. The posters pasted on the wall of BC Hostel at Mutyala Road in Dachepalli on Thursday warned that those who are selling PDS rice in the black market should stop their business within a month.
They warned Mandapati Narasimha Rao who allegedly involved in black marketing of PDS rice, should stop his business and said that political leaders and local reporters were also extending cooperation in this regard. They warned if they did not stop their business within a month, they will punish them in the people's court.
In another poster pasted in Dachepalli, they warned that those who are doing finance business and collecting high rate of interest must stop their business within a month. If they did not stop their business within a month, they will punish them in the people's court.
Speaking to The Hans India, Gurazala DSP KVVNV Prasad said some locals might have pasted the posters to warn traders involved in the PDS rice black marketing and those doing finance business. He said there was no presence of Maoists in Palnadu region.
