Parents, teachers urged to care for children

Eluru: Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash called upon parents and teachers to help schoolchildren develop into responsible future citizens of the country.

He participated in Children’s Day celebrations at Sri Suresh Chandra Bahuguna English Medium School here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that proper care should be taken in bringing up the children who would bring name and fame for the country. He said Chacha Nehru had dreamed of India wherein children have to play a great role. 

The Children’s Day was also held at Vishnu School in Bhimavaram. Cultural programmes by children attracted the audience.
