Tobacco Board takes up Swachhata programme
Ongole: Following the directions of the Central government, the regional office of the Tobacco Board in Ongole organised the Swachhata programme on its premises on Thursday.
In order to keep the office clean and hygienic, the South Black Soil and South Light Soil regional managers G Umamaheswara Rao and K Sudhakar organised a Swachh office programme.
They explained the staff and public about the importance of keeping their premises clean at the office and road junction opposite their office.
They participated in the collection of waste, removing garbage, plucking the withered plants, and cleaning debris around the office and neighboring open places. They removed the unneeded and old files from the office.
The SBS and SLS regional managers informed the importance of the Swachh Bharat to the vendors and shop owners at the Y Junction in the bypass road and guided them to follow the instructions of Central government.
