Chandrababu Naidu to flag off first direct flight to Singapore from AP

Amaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will flag off the first direct flight from state capital City Amaravati to Singapore on December 4.

The Indigo flights authorities formally invited Chief Minister to flag off the first flight. 

After great struggle for more than three and half years, the State government able to ensure direct flight from Gannavaram Airport to Singapore. 

Chief Minister said that the Indigo flights came forward to operate it after state government assured viability gap fund. That means, state government has to give the revenue gap of each trip. If the occupancy didn't cross fifty percent of seating capacity, then the State government has to fund that gap.
