Four youths hurt as van falls into canal

Vijayawada: Four youths sustained injuries when a van in which they were travelling went out of control and jumped into a canal between Kesarapalli and Purushottapatnam near Gannavaram on Tuesday evening.

However, the injuries were minor and they were out of danger. The van was coming from Purushottapatnam towards Gannavaram. It is said that the youths went to Purushottapatnam to change LED bulbs in various villages. The reasons from the mishap were not known.
