RSETI trainees get sewing machines under Mudra scheme
Tirupati: The 30-day training programme for 23 women in tailoring provided by Andhra Bank’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) has concluded on Wednesday.
The Institute at Chandragiri has been imparting training to both men and women in the district to help them learn required skills and earn their livelihood. It helps in generating self-employment opportunities and developing entrepreneurial abilities in rural unemployed youth by offering them opportunities to acquire technical skills.
The valedictory programme was organised on Wednesday in which Zonal Manager of Andhra Bank V Muralikrishna Rao and State Directors for RSETIs Chandrasekhar and Ramakrishna Manne took part. As part of MSME outreach programme, sewing machines were sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) and were distributed to the trainees along with certificates.
Speaking on the occasion, Muralikrishna Rao has wished that all the trainees should work with self-confidence and be able to employ a few others. RSETI Chandragiri Brach Director Y Sowjanya has coordinated the programme.
