Rally to mark World AIDS Day on Dec 1 in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: A rally to mark World AIDS Day on December 1 would be organised here by the Andhra Pradesh State Government and AIDS Control Society, said the project director Dr S Arun Kumar.

He said that the rally would commence from Raghavaiah Park at 8 am. It would conclude at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram. Ministers, people’s representatives, Medical and Health chief secretary Punam Malakondaiah, directors of Medical and Health department, commissioners and other state and district level officers would participate in the rally.

After the rally, a meeting would be held at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram. NGOs, students and others would participate.
