Goods and Services Tax providing job opportunities to many
Vijayawada: With the introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST) by the Central government, there is a huge impact on the Service Management Sector, said Facility Management Association of India national president Afsar Hussain here on Friday.
Addressing a meeting organised by Facility Management Association of India here, he said that their software was being used in 50,000 companies across the country and over 15 crore people were earning their livelihood, besides 80 lakh people from the Telugu-speaking states.
By implementing GST, he said the agencies were facing additional burden and the government should recognise the agencies and support them and implement SIPF. He said that they were ready to establish centres to provide training for the agencies. However, he appealed to the government to provide land for establishing the centres.
Joint Labour Commissioner Ravibhooshan, Telangana chapter president Captain Karimullah, national general secretary Amardeep Singh and others were present.
