Karthika Pournami celebrated in Guntur

Guntur: Girl students of Vignan University lit the lamps in the university campus at Vadlamudi in Guntur district on Friday, on the occasion of auspicious Karthika Pournima (full moon day).

Speaking on this occasion, Vignan’s Group chairman Dr L Rathaiah explained significance of Karthika Masam and its significance. 

The students performed various abhishekams and pujas and Vishnu Sahasranamam.
Later, they conducted Vanamahotsavam with thousands of students and their 
parents.
