MITS student selected for internship at Nanyang Technological University Singapore

Madanapalle (Chittoor): P Sai Kumar, a B Tech final year student (Mechanical Engineering) of the Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) has been selected for Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, for research internship. 

He will be a research assistant for a period of 5 months from January to May 2019, said Principal Dr C Yuvaraj in a press meet on Friday. NTU at Singapore stands at number 3 in the World's Times Higher Education rankings and 12th position in the World University QS rankings, he added.

P Sai Kumar is going to pursue research on shape memory alloys/composites for enhanced stiffness under the supervision of Prof Huang Weimin at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Sai Kumar will get 300 Singapore dollars per month and accommodation during his internship at NTU. Administration Dean Dr Sreemant Basu, HoD (Mechanical) Dr Suryanarayana Raju, faculty and students congratulated Sai Kumar on his success.
