Tributes paid to Mc Laurin couple

Kakinada:  The 107th Establishment Day of Mc Laurin High School was organised here on Friday.

Rich trinities were paid to Dr J Mc Laurin and his wife J Bretti Mc Laurin by special officer of the school and Kakinada RDO L Raghu Babu.

Speaking on the occasion, Raghu Babu said that the school was established in the year 1911 by the couple for development of education as part of their service activity. 

The RDO said that prominent among students of this school were former president of  India VV  Giri, former Union  minister Mallipudi Sanjeeva Rao, Dantu Bhaskara Rao, Dantu  Surya Rao,  movie artistes  Rao Gopala Rao, Suryakantam and others.

The RDO also said that special measures were being initiated for development of school and improving student strength.
