Adopt VIADUCT approach to up people’s satisfaction, officials told

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu advised the officials to adopt VIADUCT approach to achieve highest satisfaction level among people over government services.

He said officials should adopt Vision, Innovation, Accountability, Digitalisation, Uberisation, Convergence and Technology Transformation (VIADUCT) for better results. 

Once the officials adopt the new  system, it is easy to achieve 90 per cent satisfaction of people, he said, while addressing secretaries and heads of departments at the Secretariat on Monday. The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of various departments.

Suggesting that the officials use technology to increase satisfaction level of people on government schemes, he said e-Pragati should achieve cent per cent result with penetration of technology.

Citing the achievements of tourism department, the Chief Minister said that AP tops in tourism development. The department organised three international events in a month with low expenditure and achieved international recognition for Amaravati, he praised. 

The Chief Minister asked the officials to sort out attitude problems of ration dealers to increase satisfaction level of people on public distribution system.

He said basing on the performance and public satisfaction levels, ratings  would be awarded to departments. He said RTG (Real-Time Governance) centres will be set up at all district headquarters by December-end.

Earlier,  Chief Secretary Anil Chandra Punetha explained the progress of various departments. Later, the Chief Minister reviewed the performance of all departments and directed the officials to adopt mission approach to increase satisfaction level of people.
