Pawan Kalyan vows to implement farmer-friendly policies

Ravulapalem/ Rajamahendravaram: Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan assured that if his party is voted to power, it will implement farmer friendly policies. Addressing a public meeting at Ravulaapalem in East Godavari district on Sunday, Pawan assured to start Mahila Bank for SHG women and employment to unemployed youth.

He said cold storage facilities will be provided to farmers to enable them to store their produce until they get remunerative price and in case of less demand at the time of crop harvesting.

He also assured 33 per cent reservation to women in legislative bodies to ensure their uplift. Commenting on qualities of politicians, Pawan asked the people to encourage those who strive for their development and not those leaders who depend on the public for their development.  

Turning his attention on national parties, the JSP chief said that both BJP and Congress want to dictate terms to South India, which cannot be tolerated as they are North Indian parties, he said.

Pawan lambasted both TDP and YSRCP for not taking care of people’s problems Pawan asked the people to vote for Jana Sena to serve them and to stand by them for the next 25 years. Party leaders N Manohar, former minister Balaraju and others were present.

Earlier in Rajamahendravaram, Pawan called upon the BJP not to rake up Ram Mandir issue. Participating in Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Seva Sangha Samakya meeting, he said if BJP really wants to construct Ram Mandir, it should do it and there is no need to stir up communal passion, he said.

“BJP is thinking that it is the only saviour of Hindutva but along with BJP, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) etc not condemning the statements given by some persons insulting Hindutva,” he regretted. Hindu dharma is great and no one can damage it, he added.

Pawan said he had adopted Relli caste to clean the garbage in politics, just as Rellis clean the garbage on the roads. JSP came into existence to bring reforms in politics, combat corruption and to pull up corrupt politicians, he said.

He urged the Brahmin community to support the JSP in the forthcoming elections and bless him to take care of the wellbeing of Brahmins. Pawan asked the community leaders to send candidates having values and ethics into politics. He assured to sanction funds to Brahmin Corporation and encourage Brahmin entrepreneurs. Pawan vowed to protect the self-respect of Brahmins.
