People told to study Ambedkar
Rajamahendravaram: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Rajahmundry Asset executive director DMR Sekhar has said that the spirit of Indian should be imbibed by everyone in the country.
Participating in a seminar on '69 years of Constitutional Governance in India Problems and Prospectus', organised by PSU Employees Associations here on Monday, he said the State government along with the association conducted a massive car rally of 500km from Amaravati to Rajamahendraavaram to bring awareness among people on the Constitution.
"It gives equal opportunities to the traditionally deprived sections of the society. Dr BR Ambedkar is the architect of the Constitution laid down the path to progress of the under privelieged, women, minorities etc," he added.
Social scientist PJ Sudhakar said Dr BR Ambedkar belongs to all sections in the country but not to any one section.
"He immensely contributed to the political system and economic institutions of the independent India," he said and underlined the need to study debates on the Constitution to understand Dr Ambedkar's significance contributions.,
