Pawan Kalyan alleges biased reporting against him
Amalapuram: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan expressed concern over biased reporting in some vernacular dailies about his film career. Participating in an interactive session with students at Satyanaraayana function hall here on Tuesday, Pawan Kalyan observed that this type of reporting has been continuing for years and said that a vernacular daily reported that some political leader had forcibly tonsured his head years ago.
These newspapers never bothered to seek my version on the issue, he said. He made these observations when a student asked about a reports of his continuation in films as reported in same channels and Telugu newspapers. This is creating some confusion among public, the student observed. When he wanted Pawan to start a newspaper and a channel of his own, Pawan said it requires a huge amount.
“Like Lokesh, I don’t have collections from sand mafia or income from cement factories like YS Jagan,” he said. Pawan revealed that he do not have any reserve funds and in fact, a bank loan sanctioned to him recently was withheld for some unknown reasons and he had to seek the help of some people for release of the loan.
He said that his only interest is to produce movies as some of his friends are willing to extend their cooperation in this aspect. Students, particularly girls, participated in large numbers from different parts in Konseema area in the district.
