YSRC chief promises to scrap contributory pension scheme
Srikakulam: YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday stated that his party will scrap the contributory pension scheme (CPS) if his party is voted to power in 2019 elections. Continuing his 308th day Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Palakonda Assembly segment in Srikakulam district, Jagan assured the employees that he would scrap CPS once his party is voted to power.
He alleged that the TDP government totally failed in taking relief works in Titli-hit seven mandals in Uddanam and concentrating only on to get publicity than completing actual works at field level. He accused the Chief minister of cheating women, farmers, youth regarding loan waiver and employment generation.
Crores of public money is being diverted in the name of rivers linking and Polavaram project is the best example for exploitation of public money in the name of projects, Jagan charged. Health services like 108, fee reimbursement for students and other schemes, which are introduced during the tenure of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, are completely diluted, he alleged.
