TDP will disappear after 2019 elections: BJP

Update: 2018-12-01 05:29 IST

Amalapuram: BJP official spokesperson Nalla Pawan Kumar has opined that TDP will be disappeared in the state after Assembly and general elections in 2019.

Speaking to ‘The Hans India’ here on Friday, he said the people were vexed with the four-and-a-half years ruleof Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu with his anti-people policies and corruption was increased at all levels.

He advised Minister for Panchayat Raj N Lokesh to stop daydreaming that TDP would come to power again. Referring to allegation by Lokesh that JSP chief Pawan Kalyan and YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy were not asking the BJP government to accord Special Category Status, Nalla questioned why the TDP asked for special package instead of SCS.

“Income Tax and Enforcement Directorates will conduct raids on the corrupt and there is no role of the BJP government in the raids,” he said.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was trying to divert people’s attention from his corruption in the guise of Nava Nirmana Deeksha and Dharma Porata Deeksha, the  BJP leader alleged.

“Why Naidu is feeling insecure with IT and ED raids on Rajya Sabha members CM Ramesh and Sujana Choudary?” he wondered.
